2011 Lubbock Parade of Homes

I feel my Parade house finally turned the corner today. The front elevation was still unfinished and hard to see until today. We installed the 8 columns out front and planted 3 trees. I'm looking forward to painting the brick and installing the metal roof. The guys are busy installing the cabinets and trim on the inside. Stay tuned.

The most popular question at The Trails Parade right now:
Is that really the brick color you are putting on your parade house????
No, we are going to paint the brick a light gray, stain the cedar brick pocket dark, and paint the masonite fascia white. I agree it does look pretty bad right now, but the guys finished the last brick on Friday. We will be sheetrocking Monday!! Way ahead of schedule.

Got the concrete sidewalks, steps, patio and driveway poured today. I really like the lead walk entrance to this house.

Things are moving along great on Norfolk. The shower is complete and the painters are working on the inside. We did a retaining wall at the front of the house last week, so we will pour the concrete sidewalk this coming week.
